Two Meriden residents now face multiple commercial fishing charges, while the confiscated catch is being used to feed rehabilitating birds of prey, underscoring efforts to protect local marine resources and lawful fishermen.

Beach St. project kindled commerce, investor interest (westhavenvoice.com) — Major shoreline upgrades in West Haven, including raising Beach Street by 11 feet and rebuilding flood-prone pump stations, are reshaping the city's beachfront and attracting new investment.
