Weston Memorial Day Weekend 5K Returning For 32nd Year
The annual community fundraiser will include a 5K race, kids fun run and family activities.
WESTON, CT — A longtime Fairfield County Memorial Day weekend tradition is returning to Weston this weekend.
The 32nd annual Weston Memorial Day Weekend 5K and Kids Fun Run is scheduled for Saturday, May 23.
Organizers said the USATF-certified 5K race will feature a scenic course through Weston and will include a new three-wave timed start beginning at 8:30 a.m. to provide additional space for runners and walkers.

The event will also include Kids Fun Run races beginning at 7:45 a.m., with distances ranging from 100 yards to one mile.
According to organizers, family activities will include ribbons, medals and an inflatable obstacle course in the event’s Kids Zone.

The event serves as the Weston High School PTO’s largest fundraiser and supports educational programs and classroom needs for students and teachers, organizers said.
Participants who register for both the Weston Memorial Day Weekend 5K and the Weston Kiwanis Reservoir Run will also be entered for a chance to win two JetBlue round-trip tickets, according to organizers.
