Deadline Set In Westport For Party Transfer Before Upcoming Primaries
Voters must be registered with a political party in order to vote in a primary in Connecticut.
WESTPORT, CT — The deadline for enrolled electors in Westport to transfer from one party to another is on or before 4:30 p.m on May 11, the Westport Registrars of Voters announced.
Party affiliation is required in order to be eligible to vote in a state or district office primary of new party (Connecticut General Statutes 9-59).
A Westport elector may change parties in person at the Registrars’ Office located at Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Ave., Room 107 or online at https://voterregistration.ct.gov.
