Earthplace Celebrates Arbor Day Weekend With 5th Annual 'Toast To The Trees' Event
The fundraising event at Earthplace in Westport will include a trail walk, beer tastings, crafts and live music.
WESTPORT, CT — Westport's Earthplace will host its Arbor Day weekend celebration, Toast to the Trees, on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at its 62-acre nature sanctuary at 10 Woodside Lane. The family friendly event will invite guests of all ages to take a self-guided trail walk through the sanctuary with stops at activity stations along the way.
According to Earthplace, the event is rooted in the spirit of Arbor Day, which was first observed in 1872 to celebrate the importance of trees. Adults 21 and older can take part in craft beer tastings from local brewery sponsors, while children will be offered sparkling beverages and nature-themed arts and crafts.
"Toast to the Trees is more than just a walk in the woods; it’s a celebration of our community and the natural resources we protect," said Amee Borys, Executive Director at Earthplace. "With over 200 people joining us each year, it has become a beloved tradition that directly supports our mission of nature education and conservation."
