• Westport raises Pink Aid flag to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month (news12.com) — Westport kicked off Breast Cancer Awareness Month by raising the Pink Aid flag at Jessup Green, honoring a nonprofit founded in town that has given over $16 million to patients nationwide. Local leaders and residents highlighted community support, and many Westport businesses will donate a portion of October proceeds to help underserved breast cancer patients.

The 7 p.m. playreading costs $35 and highlights the Playhouse's long-running commitment to new and engaging work.
