Westport Tree Board To Host Tree Seedling Giveaway

WESTPORT, CT — The Westport Tree Board will celebrate Arbor Day with a Tree Seedling Giveaway for Westport residents at Town Hall on Friday, April 24, officials announced.

The event is scheduled for 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.; seedlings will be distributed from a table set up near the ball fields at the rear of the Town Hall parking lot.

Planting instructions will be given out with the seedlings to assist school-age children and residents.

Seedlings will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
