• Meet Michelle Shoop, WHS's First Dean of Student Life (goodmorningwilton.com) — Wilton High School students will now see a new face in the halls as Michelle Shoop steps in as the school's first dean of student life, focused on improving day-to-day student experiences. She's spending her early weeks listening to students, supporting freshmen, reinforcing the cellphone-free environment, and working with groups like the Diversity, Belonging and Visibility Committee to catch problems before they grow.
   

• Wilton BOF Questions Incomplete Audit Posted to EMMA (goodmorningwilton.com) — Wilton's Board of Finance audit subcommittee is pressing town officials about why an incomplete FY2025 financial report, including a $9.58 million capital asset correction, was publicly posted to EMMA without clear notice to elected boards. Members are questioning the disclosure process, communication from the finance department and advisors, and whether the delayed audit can realistically be finished by Sept. 30, given ongoing discrepancies and unanswered questions.
