18th Century Clock Making with Clockmaker and Historian Tom Vaughn

The East Windsor Historical Society presents Clockmaker and Historian Tom Vaughn in this FREE event.

Clockmaker and historian Tom Vaughn will offer a demonstration on 18th century clockmaking. With a focus on East Windsor clockmaker Daniel Burnap, Tom will bring a variety of original and reproduction tools identical to those used in Burnap’s shop. See a working treadle lathe, and watch how Burnap would have cut perfect gears on a wheel cutting engine.
