Street Closed After Water Main Break

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — A section of Center Street in Windsor Locks has been temporarily closed as crews respond to a water main break, according to town officials.

The Town of Windsor Locks Department of Public Works said the closure affects Center Street between Spring Street and Church Street. Motorists are being urged to avoid the area and follow posted detours and traffic control devices.

Officials said Connecticut Water crews are on scene working to address the break and make repairs.

No estimate was immediately available for when the roadway will reopen. Town officials said updates will be shared as more information becomes available.
