• 'Carrie Showed Up For People': Support Pours In For Children Of Slain CT Cafe Owner (dailyvoice.com) — Winsted is mourning beloved Railway Cafe owner and resident Carrie Stetson, 54, who police say was killed in a suspected domestic violence incident earlier this week. A GoFundMe for her three children has already raised more than $45,000 as friends, customers, and town leaders share tributes to her deep involvement in local causes, small businesses, and animal rescue. Winchester police continue to investigate.
