• Troopers Solve Mystery Of 'Gunshot' Sounds In Woodbury (patch.com) — Woodbury residents who heard what sounded like gunshots on Wednesday can rest easier after state and local police determined the noises likely came from an older truck backfiring, not a shooter. Troopers canvassed neighborhoods, used a K9 to search for shell casings, and found no evidence of shots fired, while reminding residents to keep reporting suspicious sounds or activity.
