• Edgemoor container port poised to move forward after permit win (delawareonline.com) — A long-delayed container port project in Edgemoor is finally moving ahead after key federal permits were reissued, clearing the way for early site activity and eventual full construction. The $635 million expansion, expected to be built in phases through at least 2028, would dramatically boost Wilmington’s shipping capacity, add thousands of port-related jobs, and reshape Edgemoor’s riverfront despite ongoing opposition from rival ports and local advocacy groups.
