• Kent Commission approves plans for 369 homes near Frederica, Cheswold (delawareonline.com) — Hundreds of new homes are planned just north of Frederica after Kent County’s planning commission conditionally approved the 244-home Barratts Landing subdivision in the Frederica Fire District, along with another project near Cheswold. Residents raised concerns about traffic, road safety, and loss of farmland, while officials say the plan meets all technical requirements and will require road widening and added recreation space.
