Pepsi Bottling Ventures Plant sells in Harrington (delawarebusinesstimes.com) ā A major industrial property in Harrington, the former Pepsi Bottling Ventures plant on Cluckey Drive, has sold for $3.15 million and is expected to be listed for lease soon. While the building remains empty for now, its prime spot by the townās industrial park could attract new tenants and jobs, with lease rates likely competitive with nearby Dover.

Harrington Poultry Farm Fire (delaware.gov) ā A major poultry farm fire in Harrington destroyed two full chicken houses and another structure Wednesday afternoon, causing estimated losses over $1 million but no reported injuries. Harrington Fire Company and mutual aid crews battled the blaze on Hayfield Road, and the Delaware State Fire Marshalās Office is still investigating the cause.

Delaware Century Farm Program adds three new families, celebrates First State's agricultural heritage (delaware.gov) ā A longtime Harrington farm, Wright Family Farms, has been officially recognized as a Delaware Century Farm, honoring more than a century of family ownership and agricultural work on the property. The program also celebrated historic farms in Milford and Smyrna/Clayton, highlighting Delawareās deep farming roots and offering residents a look at how multigenerational operations have shaped the stateās rural communities.
