• Police: Man Charged In New Castle City Rape, Gunfire (firststateupdate.com) — New Castle City police have arrested a Pennsylvania man accused of a July 20 sexual assault near Frenchtown Road, where a firearm was allegedly used and discharged as the victim escaped. He faces first-degree rape and related felony charges and is being held on high cash bail while detectives continue their investigation, with the possibility of additional counts.
