Two Kent paramedic stations built with over $6 million in federal funds (delawareonline.com) ā Kent County has opened two new paramedic stations in Harrington and near Frederica, funded mostly by federal COVID relief dollars, to keep up with rapidly rising emergency calls. Smyrna residents are still served from the existing Wheatleys Pond Road station, which, along with the new sites, is part of a broader effort to improve response times countywide.
