• Miami-Dade detectives make arrest in five-year-old cold case murder (miamiherald.com) — Neighbors near the Aventura area may recall a 2021 homicide at Northeast 199th Street and 10th Avenue, just west of the city. Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office detectives now say a 36-year-old man already serving life in prison has admitted to the stabbing, and he's been charged with first-degree murder and related offenses.
