• Boca Raton Animal Feeding Ordinance Reignites Neighborly Dispute Over 'Hundreds' of Pigeons (bocadailynews.com subscription) — Boca Raton has approved a new ordinance banning the feeding of nuisance animals after a long-running feud between neighbors on NW Spanish River Boulevard over hundreds of pigeons damaging property. The measure, passed 3–2, targets extreme situations like mass pigeon or iguana feeding while allowing normal bird feeders, and code officers have already logged new complaints and inspections tied to the dispute.
   

• Golden Bell Foundation Awards Boca Raton Area Schools 57 Grants (tapinto.net) — Boca Raton public schools are getting a major boost, with 57 Golden Bell Education Foundation grants funding robotics kits, drones, 3D printers and more in local classrooms. The Greater Boca Raton Chamber's foundation awarded over $168,000, supporting schools from Waters Edge Elementary to Spanish River and West Boca High, plus programs at the Boca Raton Museum of Art and George Snow Scholarship Fund.
   

• South Florida's connection to 9/11 hijackers and anthrax attacks revisited (wpbf.com) — South Florida's role in the 9/11 story includes hijackers training and living across the region and a chilling follow-up: Boca Raton was the site of the first anthrax attack.
