Driver crashes through Bradenton business on Cortez Road, police say (bradenton.com) — A 73-year-old driver crashed through Turning Tides wellness center at Cortez Village Plaza in Bradenton, causing about $50,000 in damage but miraculously injuring no one else. The car narrowly missed diners at Sage Biscuit Cafe and also damaged HCA Florida Blake Hospital's outpatient rehab center, prompting evacuations and a license re-evaluation for the driver.
