After clocking hundreds of violations near Coconut Creek High and local elementary schools, the city plans to expand cameras to more school zones next year.

Monarch High Senior Steven Strong Earns National Merit Scholarship (coconutcreektalk.com) — Monarch High School senior Steven Strong, from Coconut Creek’s own public high school, has earned a prestigious College-Sponsored National Merit Scholarship to attend the University of Florida. He’s one of 26 Broward seniors honored, joining a countywide group recognized for top academics, leadership, and community involvement, with awards supporting up to four years of college.
