• Off-duty Polk County deputy killed in I-4 crash (mysuncoast.com) — An off-duty Polk County detention deputy was killed Tuesday night in a crash on I-4 near Haines City after the SUV he was riding in abruptly crossed lanes and was struck by a pickup.
