• Orange County moves forward on plans to build private school in Horizon West (clickorlando.com) — Orange County is moving ahead with plans for a new K–5 private school in Horizon West, designed for up to 880 students as an expansion of Windermere Preparatory School. The two-story campus off New Independence Parkway would include sports fields, outdoor learning areas, and an on-site carline to manage added traffic, with final approval expected before county commissioners in August.
