• Amanda Linares Open Studio 6/25/26 (soulofmiami.org) — An open studio with artist Amanda Linares is coming to MDC’s Kendall Campus Art Gallery on Thursday, June 25, offering Kendall-area residents a free midday arts experience. Visitors can see new works created in the gallery, talk directly with the artist about her process, and enjoy free parking on campus. The Museum of Art and Design may photograph attendees during the event. 
• Woman threatened driver with shooting after crash unless he paid $50, FHP says (wsvn.com) — A driver was allegedly threatened after a crash in the Kendall area near State Road 94 and Southwest 152nd Avenue, where a woman is accused of demanding $50 and implying violence. Florida Highway Patrol investigators say Tesla video helped document the incident, leading to her arrest and multiple charges. She was booked into Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center after medical clearance.
• Caregiver accused of stealing and selling $56K in jewelry from elderly Miami-Dade victims (wsvn.com) — Miami-Dade detectives from the Kendall District’s pawnshop unit helped uncover an alleged scheme where a caregiver is accused of stealing about $56,500 in jewelry from two elderly clients and selling it at local pawn shops. Investigators say the victims never authorized any sale, leading to serious exploitation charges. The accused caregiver is being held on a high bond with another court hearing set for Monday.
