• Library expands book club program to youth (tncontentexchange.com) — Families in Key Largo can now borrow kid and teen “Book Club In A Bag” sets through the Monroe County library, complete with 10 copies and discussion guides. You can request bags from any Keys branch and have them shipped to the Key Largo library, making it easier to start youth book clubs, homeschool groups, or summer reading circles.
   

• Key Largo Remains Identified As Miami Man Missing Since 1988 (hoodline.com) — Human remains found off County Road 905 in North Key Largo back in 1988 have finally been identified as a Miami man, thanks to new DNA and genealogy tools. Monroe County detectives say the homicide case is still active and are asking anyone with information about how he ended up in the Keys to contact their Major Crimes Unit.
