Man charged with 6 counts of attempted murder after shooting into Lakeland home: LPD (tampabay28.com) — Lakeland police arrested a 24-year-old Winter Haven man after shots were fired into a Westgate-area home, critically injuring two of six people inside, including adults with young children present. Detectives used surveillance video and electronic evidence to identify the suspect, who now faces six attempted murder counts and multiple related charges while being held in Polk County Jail without bond.
