The ultramodern STEM-focused hub aims to expand enrollment to 3,000 students by 2030 and significantly reshape student life and services for local and commuting residents.
   

• Lowest diesel gas price in Polk County hits $5.65 for week ending Sept. 19 (polktimes.com) — Lakeland drivers faced some of Polk County's higher diesel prices in the week ending Sept. 19, with the county's lowest reported diesel price at $5.65 per gallon. A GasBuddy survey shows average diesel costs in Polk County slightly above the state average, while listing detailed price lows for Lakeland and neighboring communities to help residents compare where they fill up.
