• Rescue Pitties Are Waiting for a Second Chance, and You Can Help Make It Happen This October (myrtlebeachonline.com) — A pit bull named Amelia recently spent six months at Pasco County Animal Services in Land O' Lakes, highlighting how long many local pitties wait for homes. A Florida-based photo nonprofit is now fundraising to professionally photograph 200 shelter pit bulls nationwide this October, and residents here are encouraged to donate, foster, volunteer, or share adoption posts to help stressed dogs find families faster.
