• July 4th weekend events (newpelican.com) — Lauderdale-by-the-Sea residents can enjoy a July 4th parade from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by a Family Fun Day at El Prado Park and nighttime fireworks at 9 p.m. Nearby cities including Pompano Beach, Deerfield Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and Oakland Park are also hosting concerts, beach celebrations, and American Legion gatherings throughout the holiday weekend.
