Investigators traced the trash from a Naples clean‑out job using an address label and license plate readers. The sheriff warns that illegal dumping remains a serious problem in Lehigh Acres and says surveillance is being used to catch offenders.

Deputies seek person of interest in connection to Lehigh Acres home burglary (gulfcoastnewsnow.com) — Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking Lehigh Acres residents for tips about a residential burglary, naming 33‑year‑old Jakeem Bailey as a person of interest. If you know anything, you can report information anonymously by phone, app, or website, and may qualify for a cash reward up to $3,000 if your tip leads to an arrest. 3. ‘This isn't right': Lehigh Acres woman stuck with deteriorating roof after manufacturer goes silent on warranty (winknews.com) — A Lehigh Acres homeowner says her stone‑coated steel roof, installed after Hurricane Irma, has been shedding material for years and littering her property, despite a supposed lifetime warranty. She was told the manufacturer would replace the roof in late 2025, but that never happened, and the company has since gone silent. The distributor has halted sales of the product and says it’s still waiting on the manufacturer to fund her promised replacement while she considers legal action.
   

4. Authorities seek help identifying bikers linked to damage at Lehigh Acres country club (gulfcoastnewsnow.com) — Residents at Ibis Landing Country Club in Lehigh Acres are dealing with more than $2,500 in damage after kids on e-bikes allegedly rode across golf greens and vandalized a restroom less than a week ago. Lee County Sheriff’s Office has deployed a surveillance tower and warning signs, while Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking the public to help identify those involved.
