• Keys deputy injures hand deploying spikes for ‘erratic' suspect driving 120 mph, cops say (local10.com) — Monroe County deputies say a Marathon man was arrested after allegedly fleeing a traffic stop, hitting 120 mph on U.S. 1, and finally crashing off 39th Street in Marathon, injuring a deputy deploying tire spikes. The incident began with welfare concerns and unusual behavior, and the driver now faces multiple charges including DUI with serious bodily injury and fleeing and eluding.
