Her husband announced her passing as Miramar police continue seeking tips, with a $10,000 reward still offered for information that could identify the driver responsible.

ā¢ Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick's criminal trial delayed (palmbeachpost.com) ā A South Florida congresswomanās criminal trial over alleged misuse of COVID-19 relief funds has been pushed to February 2027, even as she faces a pivotal House ethics hearing this month. The case involves Trinity Health Care Services, a family-run company based in Miramar, and could ultimately determine whether she remains in Congress representing parts of Palm Beach and Broward counties.
