Gilbert, whose brother Pick Sansom lives here while her own life was rooted in Cottondale and the Florida Panhandle. The 73-year-old registered nurse, outdoors lover, and devoted family matriarch will be honored at a private graveside service in Cottondale, with loved ones from Mulberry, Lakeland, and beyond mourning together. 
• Tyler Eugene Norman (mississippivalleypublishing.com) — Mulberry is quietly connected to the loss of 47-year-old Tyler Eugene Norman, whose father now lives here while Tyler’s own life centered on Springfield and Petersburg.
