Deputies responded Wednesday night to a home on Avellino Isles Circle after the father called 911, and authorities say it’s the second suspected murder-suicide in Southwest Florida in less than two weeks. 
• 2 dead, 1 hurt in domestic shooting at North Naples gated community (winknews.com) — Residents in North Naples are reeling after a domestic shooting in the Vineyards’ Avellino Isles community left two people dead and one hospitalized with gunshot wounds. Collier County deputies say they are not searching for a suspect and report no ongoing threat to the public, as Major Crimes investigators work to piece together what happened on Avellino Isles Circle.
• Caught Speeding, Busted With Bricks: K9 Sniffs Out 2 Kilos Of Cocaine In Florida Felon's Pickup (tampafp.com) — Collier County deputies say a K9 traffic stop on Collier Boulevard near Rattlesnake Hammock Road uncovered more than two kilograms of cocaine in a pickup driven by a Naples man. The 54-year-old, a convicted felon already in a diversion program, now faces a serious trafficking charge as Sheriff Kevin Rambosk credits K9 teams with keeping drugs off local streets.
