• Mosquito-Borne Dengue Case Confirmed In Pasco, Citrus, As Cases Rise In FL (patch.com) — New Port Richey residents are being urged to take mosquito precautions after health officials confirmed a locally acquired dengue case in Pasco County, alongside another in Citrus County. With dengue infections nearly doubling statewide in a week, local and county mosquito control teams are stepping up surveillance, fogging, and inspections while reminding people to wear repellent, cover up, and drain standing water around homes.
