• Precautionary boil water order issued for North Lauderdale residents (wsvn.com) — North Lauderdale residents are under a precautionary boil-water order through Saturday after a testing error led the state to require extra safety steps, affecting up to 35,000 customers. City officials urge everyone to boil tap water for at least one minute before drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, making ice, or washing dishes, and say they’ll send robocalls and online alerts once the order is lifted.
   

• $414,000 in Scholarships Awarded to More Than 60 High School Students From Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County (thewestsidegazette.com) — Several North Lauderdale high school students are among more than 60 Broward teens sharing $414,000 in college scholarships from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County’s BIG Futures program.
