1. Marion County community paramedicine continues to grow, helping those in need (wcjb.com) — Marion County’s growing Community Paramedicine Program, praised by Ocala Fire Rescue’s Capt. Chris Hickman, is helping residents manage chronic illness, frequent 911 use, and opioid recovery before emergencies happen. As the population grows, officials are expanding partnerships and invite Ocala-area residents to contact community paramedics directly by email or phone to seek help or referrals.

BREAKING: City of Ocala Issues Boil Water Notice for Parts of Shady Glynn Subdivision (352today.com) — If you live in Ocala’s Shady Glynn subdivision near SE 24th Court and SE 38th–39th Streets, you’re under a boil water notice and should boil tap water for at least one minute before using it. The City of Ocala will lift the advisory only after tests confirm the water is safe to drink.

Attorney General James Uthmeier Announces Arrest of 58 Child Predators in Marion County Sting Operation (einpresswire.com) — Ocala residents should know that local police joined a major Marion County sting that arrested 58 alleged online child predators in just five days. Led by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office with state and federal partners, the undercover operation targeted suspects arranging to meet children as young as seven. Officials say more arrests are expected as the investigation continues.

Pamela Calero Wardell Joins St. Louis Symphony Orchestra as Chief Philanthropy Officer (symphony.org) — Pamela Calero Wardell, who once led the Ocala Symphony and helped launch the Reilly Arts Center, has been named chief philanthropy officer for the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra.
