Victim's family speaks out in Manatee murder sentencing (bradenton.com) — A Palmetto resident has been sentenced to 15 years in prison, plus 10 years of probation, for a 2023 shooting death at a homeless camp off U.S. 301 in Palmetto. The judge also ordered restitution, including payment to the Palmetto Police Department, while the victim’s family described the lasting impact of the killing on their lives and his children.
