• Housekeeper accused of stealing, pawning $36K in jewelry from longtime employer (wsvn.com) — A longtime housekeeper is accused of stealing high-end jewelry from a Palmetto Bay home and pawning items over several years, according to investigators. Detectives say more than $36,000 in watches and jewelry were taken, with many pieces traced through pawn records. The suspect was questioned at the Palmetto Bay Policing Unit, admitted to the thefts, and later released on bond.
