• Palm Harbor class teaches CPR to people hard-of-hearing and deaf (baynews9.com) — Palm Harbor Fire Rescue is offering specialized CPR classes in American Sign Language for deaf and hard-of-hearing residents, inspired by a local mother who lost her son to drowning. With help from partners, they've also raised $6,000 for free swim lessons at the Palm Harbor YMCA, including sessions tailored for children with hearing challenges, and hope to hold ASL CPR classes quarterly.
