Reeves has been re-elected mayor of Pensacola, securing another term in Tuesday's Florida Primary and pledging to focus on affordability and quality of life for residents. He credited door-knocking, voter outreach, and strong supporter involvement for the win and says he'll keep working to meet people where they are.
   

4. Pensacola felon pleads guilty to drug, gun charge (wkrg.com) — A Pensacola man with a prior felony conviction has pleaded guilty to new gun and drug charges after officers found him walking on a local road with a loaded revolver and multiple drugs. He faces up to 18 years in prison combined, with sentencing set for November 10.
   

5. Jon Fay wins Florida House District 2 Republican Primary to replace Rep. Andrade (weartv.com) — Pensacola-area voters have chosen retired Navy commander Jon Fay as the Republican nominee for Florida House District 2, giving him 78% of the primary vote. Fay, a former Blue Angels executive officer, campaigned on lowering insurance costs, boosting infrastructure, cutting taxes, and supporting veterans, and will face Democrat Johnny Thompson in November.
