Their survey across Escambia and Santa Rosa counties identified strong donor potential and recommended focusing on past supporters through social media and targeted outreach.

3. Have ideas to make Pensacola better? City wants to hear them, make them happen (pnj.com) — Pensacola residents are being asked to share their top priorities for improving city life through a new Civic Dialogs online survey open through Oct. 12. The city, working with change.org, will use the most-supported ideas to convene residents in a virtual discussion and turn them into actionable proposals, giving locals another way to influence future projects and policies.

Pensacola Hard Rock project said to be unaffected as Emmitt Smith faces $2.5M lawsuit (weartv.com) — Pensacola's planned Reverb by Hard Rock hotel and mixed-use project at Community Maritime Park is expected to move forward despite a $2.5 million lawsuit against investor Emmitt Smith over an unrelated Texas venture. Local partner Quint Studer and Mayor D.C. Reeves say Smith is only a minor investor, key contracts are with other firms, and visible construction should ramp up after the Blue Wahoos season ends in October.

Yesterday evening I was washing dishes and something caught my eye. Several hummingbirds were buzzing up to my window! Im so excited! I put a feeder… (Nextdoor Englewood Heights) - Wife and I went and picked a 5 gallon bucket of Scuppernongs tonight thanks to a very very friendly and nice lady we met off of Nextdoor.
