Pensacola's Danetoberfest returns for 10th year with Great Danes and community fun (wkrg.com) — Danetoberfest is coming back to downtown Pensacola's Seville Square on Oct. 3, offering Great Danes, food trucks, raffles, and more than 30 arts and crafts vendors. Hosted by Northwest Florida Great Dane Rescue, the 10th annual fundraiser aims to raise $15,000 for veterinary care and supplies while welcoming well-behaved, vaccinated dogs and their humans for an afternoon of community fun.

Summer Safe Pensacola Series trains hospitality workers in emergency response skills (polktimes.com) — Pensacola's Summer Safe Pensacola Series has trained about 75 local hospitality workers in CPR, bleeding control, and water safety, with sessions at Pensacola Beach, a local resort, and Perdido Key. Led by Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola and Visit Pensacola with Escambia County partners, the free program aims to better protect residents and the area's 2.5 million summer visitors, with plans to continue annually.
