Police say the blaze did not spread into the house itself, and fire officials are still working to clarify exactly what happened for concerned neighbors.

Investigators say a woman was killed by her longtime boyfriend, who then took his own life, and they’re urging anyone facing domestic violence to seek help through national and local hotlines.

Watson Wins Debut as Tortugas Split Doubleheader in St. Lucie (milb.com) — Baseball fans in Port St. Lucie just saw a wild doubleheader at Clover Park, where the Daytona Tortugas and St. Lucie Mets split two high-scoring games and snapped Daytona’s seven-game win streak.
