• Safety Harbor pier reopens 2 years after three hurricanes wiped it out in 2024 (tampabay28.com) — Safety Harbor's Fire Marshal Dick Brock Memorial Pier is finally open again, giving residents back a beloved waterfront gathering spot more than two years after three hurricanes wiped it out. Locals turned out Saturday to celebrate the nearly identical rebuild, funded by over $1 million in city, state, and federal money, and to share memories of fishing, manatee-watching, and growing up on the pier.
