Sugar Champagne Bar, a new upscale lounge in downtown Sarasota, has set its opening date.

SARASOTA, FL โ A new champagne bar with a $150 minimum tab for those who make reservations for indoor seating has set its opening date.
Sugar Champagne Bar, at the corner of South Pineapple and Lemon avenues in downtown Sarasota, will open its doors on Friday.
The upscale lounge, housed in a pink building with a design inspired by Old Regency Florida, offers a curated selection of champagnes, wines, spirits and canapรฉs.

It also has a required dress code. Those with outdoor patio reservations are asked to wear โsmart-casual attire,โ according to the barโs Resy profile.
Those with dining room reservations are encouraged to wear โcocktail attire,โ such as โelegant dresses or tailored suits,โ according to Resy.

โWhile we embrace our โSugar-sotaโ lifestyle, guests in tank tops, flip-flops, swimwear, athletic wear, or hats will be turned away,โ its Resy profile reads. โPlease ensure your cell phone is on silent and do not answer phone calls publicly in any dining area.โ
