Sarasota Police Seek 4-Time Convicted Felon In Booker High School Shooting Case

SARASOTA, FL — Sarasota police are asking for the public’s help in locating a Palmetto man wanted on firearm charges connected to a July 18 shooting incident at Booker High School.

The Sarasota Police Department identified the suspect as Dameon Jashuan Brydson, 27, according to a news release.

Brydson has an active warrant for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm on school property as a result of the shooting incident at Booker High School.

The department said Brydson is a 4-time convicted felon and is on probation for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
