The victim told detectives that Martin banged on her front door and demanded that she come outside.

She didn’t respond because she believed Martin may have had a gun, police said. Martin then returned to her parked vehicle.

The victim reported seeing Martin aim a gun toward her car, police said.

Detectives found three bullet holes in the victim’s vehicle. One was in the hood and two were in the front bumper.

The victim called 911, and no injuries were reported.

Martin drove away in a red Toyota Camry after the shooting. Detectives later obtained an arrest warrant for her.

On Sunday, Martin’s car was seen by a traffic camera within the city. Patrol officers then arrested her near Colleton Drive and U.S. 41.

She was released on bond from the Sarasota County Jail on Monday.
