ā¢ Mishaps plague Sebastian Inlet dredging project (veronews.com) ā Ongoing mishaps and weather damage have pushed the Sebastian Inlet dredging project more than a year behind schedule and $1.3 million over budget, with completion now expected by May 30. The Sebastian Inlet District has repeatedly extended the contractorās deadlines while trying to keep the navigation channel open, restore sand-starved beaches toward McLarty Treasure Museum, and avoid conflicts with turtle nesting and the upcoming A1A bridge project.
