• Pasco School District Touts Gains in School Ratings, Student Achievement (hernandosun.com) — Shady Hills families should know Shady Hills Elementary was one of only five Pasco schools whose state letter grade slipped, even as the district overall earned an “A” for the first time since 2008. District leaders credit a 2022 property tax increase for helping cut teacher vacancies and say voters will be asked to renew that tax in November to keep gains going.
