• Hernando County brush fire grows as crews work to contain area (fox13news.com) — A fast-growing 12-acre brush fire is burning near the 4100 block of Burns Road in South Brooksville, and it’s only about 5% contained. Firefighters are attacking it with bulldozers, brush trucks, tankers, and helicopter water drops, and officials are urging residents to stay clear of the area while crews work and investigators look into the cause.
